Why toughened glass is worth it
Toughened (tempered) glass is heat-treated so it becomes 4–5 times stronger than normal float glass of the same thickness. If it ever breaks, it crumbles into small blunt pieces instead of dangerous sharp shards — which is why building norms recommend it wherever people can touch the glass.
We supply branded toughened glass in 5 mm to 12 mm thickness, custom cut with polished edges, holes and cutouts done before tempering — and install it with the right hardware, from patch fittings and floor springs to spider fittings.

How is toughened glass different from normal glass?
Toughened glass goes through a heating and rapid-cooling process that makes it 4–5 times stronger. When broken it forms small blunt cubes instead of long sharp pieces, making it far safer for doors, fronts and railings.
What thickness of toughened glass do I need?
It depends on use: 5–6 mm for cabinet shutters and small panels, 8 mm for partitions and shower doors, 10–12 mm for frameless doors, shopfronts and railings. We recommend the right thickness free of cost after seeing your requirement.
Can toughened glass be cut after tempering?
No — all cutting, holes and edge polishing must be done before tempering. That is why accurate site measurement matters, and why we always measure ourselves before ordering the glass.
